Vision
The vision of the BPMF is to elevate the standards of pharmaceutical microbiology in Bangladesh to internationally accepted levels. This includes:
- Educational Reform: Collaborating with Universities in Bangladesh to align the Microbiology syllabus with current Pharmaceutical or related industry requirements.
- Regulatory Excellence: Ensuring that Bangladeshi microbiologists are globally competent and prepared to meet international regulatory expectations and challenges (e.g., WHO, USFDA, and EU GMP etc.). Experienced Professionals shall guide and mentor the next generation of scientists and professionals to help ensure the safety, quality and efficacy of medicinal products.

To serve as a unified platform and professional voice for pharmaceutical microbiologists by focusing on the following key pillars:
- Professional Advocacy: Addressing the professional needs, rights, and workplace challenges faced by microbiologists in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Career Development: Supporting students, fresh graduates, unemployed microbiologists, and professionals through career guidance, networking, skill development, and employment-related initiatives.
- Mentorship and Knowledge Exchange: Facilitating guideline-based technical discussions, sharing regulatory updates, and promoting best practices in microbiological quality control, validation, sterility assurance, contamination control, training, and related areas through mentorship and professional collaboration. To promote professional excellence, scientific development, training, regulatory awareness, and collaboration among pharmaceutical microbiologists.
